Mission Statement

The mission of the Pasadena ISD Education Foundation is to enhance the quality of educational services to promote an exemplary educational system. The Foundation will collaborate with the community to reward innovative teaching, promote educational excellence, provide educational and leadership opportunities to students and to recognize the teachers and staff of the Pasadena Independent School District.

About the Education Foundation

The Pasadena ISD Education Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization made up of a volunteer Board of Directors whose primary purpose is to raise funds for the students and teachers of the Pasadena Independent School District. The foundation has been providing support and empowering success since 2004. Through the partnerships with local business, fundraisers, and donations from the community, it has enabled us to provide over $6 million to educators who apply for a mini-grant, up to $5000 each. These learning projects would likely not be funded by the regular school budget. The Education Foundation awards mini-grants once a year to Pasadena ISD educators for campus or classroom projects to enhance student success. Applications are scored by readers and then screened by a selection committee made up of foundation board members.
